+1 Nose to Escape Rebirth Guide: When to Rebirth

Rebirths are how you keep getting stronger in +1 Nose to Escape after the first few stages. I made the game, so the numbers below come from its settings.
What a rebirth does
Your Level has a cap. When you reach it, the Level bar shows MAX and you can press REBIRTH. A rebirth:
- Resets your Nose, your Level (back to 1) and your best stage, and sends you back to the lobby.
- Keeps your Wins, every nose you own and every Bloom you own.
- Adds +0.5x to your Nose multiplier for good. After 1 rebirth you earn 1.5x Nose, after 2 you earn 2x, after 4 you earn 3x, and so on.
Because your Level cap goes up with each rebirth, rebirthing is the only way to reach the later stages.
The Level each rebirth needs

After the 10th, each rebirth needs 3 more Levels than the last one, up to Level 250.
The first rebirth comes quickly on purpose, so you can see what it does before you've put much time in. The second one is a bigger jump, and after that they get closer together.
When to rebirth
The short answer: as soon as you can. The Level cap stops you anyway, and your Wins, noses and Blooms all stay. Before you press the button, it's worth doing two things:
- Beat the hardest stage you can reach one more time and step on its win pad. Wins are what you keep, so grab them first.
- Spend your Wins on the next nose or Bloom if you can afford one, so your first minutes after the rebirth go faster.
Treadmills unlocked by rebirths
The better treadmills in the lobby open up as you rebirth:

There are three more treadmills (Galaxy, Rainbow and Fairy) that are paid gamepasses. They're faster, but the four above are enough to finish the world.
Free rebirths
The daily rewards give free rebirths: +1 on day 2 and +2 on day 6. That's why it's worth opening the game every day even for a minute.
What comes after
The lobby has a "Coming soon" portal to the next worlds. Whale Belly will need 25 rebirths and Toy Island 100, so every rebirth you do now counts toward them.
