Steal Animal Egg Beginner's Guide: Codes, Stealing Eggs and Your First Pet

Steal Animal Egg is a new animal tycoon from Sillytung Studios (it came out in September 2026). I played my first few minutes and recorded it, so everything below is what actually happened, with screenshots from that run.

Redeem the code first

You start with $0, and your first pen upgrade costs $500, so grab the free cash before you do anything else.

  1. Click the red Shop button (the basket) on the left side of the screen.
  2. Scroll all the way down the shop, past the eggs, cash packs, run speed and potions, until you reach the Codes box.
  3. Type DEMONIC into the Enter Code box and press Redeem.

The box says +$1K! and your cash goes from $0 to $1,000 straight away. Codes are case sensitive, so type them in capitals like above.

How the game works

The game's own description sums it up: take eggs from animals, hatch them into pets, and your pets earn you money. You can also eat food and steal from other players. The loop looks like this:

  1. Walk to a giant animal and pick up one of its eggs.
  2. Run back to your pen before the animal catches you.
  3. The egg hatches into a pet that earns cash every second.
  4. Spend the cash on pen upgrades and food, then go steal a better egg.

Stealing your first egg

The easiest place to start is the Duck Pond. The duck is huge but the eggs lie on the grass around it.

Walk up to an egg to pick it up. As soon as you have it, the screen turns red, RUN!! pops up and the animal comes after you. There's a Drop button if you need to let go of the egg.

Once you're clear, the game tells you to Go to your Pen! and points the way. Just keep running until you reach it.

Hatching and your pen

Put the egg in your pen and it hatches into a pet. My first one was a Mini Duck. From then on the pet earns cash every second, even while you're off stealing the next egg.

The sign in your pen shows the next Upgrade Pen level and its price. Level 2 to Level 3 cost $500 for me, which is exactly why the code cash helps: you can buy it right away instead of waiting.

Food and the table

After your first pet, the game walks you through buying a table, sitting at it and ordering food. After I ordered food, a (x2) showed up next to the number at the bottom left, so it's worth doing as soon as the game offers it.

Keep stealing eggs, hatching them and upgrading the pen. Bigger animals have bigger eggs, and eggs can roll different sizes and mutations, so the rare ones are worth the risk of getting chased.
